Loneliness Prevails

Back again to the same old room.
In the same old corner
As if the years never passed

The walls asking me where have you been all this time
looking at me trying to guess the changes in me
"You look just the same"

I look at them trying to say "Believe me, I have changed a lot"

"You're still lonely and your heart heavy.
But you seem much older, the days have engraved their path on your features"

"I feel older, so much older. Ohhhh yes, I feel so lonely.
I am back as if I never left. I am back and I have nothing with me but a heavy heart and tearful eyes."

"But you left full of hope and love. You left with a determination to make a change, sure of your love. We don't see any hope in your eyes any more."

A Smile of a broken heart is all they get as an answer.
